Jason's 15-year long career in commercial real estate began after graduating Union College, New York, with a degree in Economics. As assistant asset manager to his family's firm in Chicago, Federated Management Services, Jason over saw the day to day operations of 115,000 square feet of office space, 150,000 square feet of industrial, and 50,000 square feet of retail investment properties.
After the business was sold in 2005, Jason relocated to Phoenix Arizona to join Steven Goldstein, owner of Amercon Realty Services Inc. Amercon is a boutique brokerage firm specializing in Pension Fund Advisor representation in the acquisition and disposition of multifamily properties and land for apartment development. Together, Steven and Jason brokered the sale of approximately $350mm worth of apartment buildings, and $20mm of land for future apartment development in Phoenix, Tucson, and Albuquerque.
From Brokerage Jason moved to the principal side of multifamily as the Vice President of Acquisitions for ColRich, a CALPERS partner.
After leaving ColRich and forming Jevan Capital Jason has acquired over $100mm worth of apartment buildings spread amongst 2,308 units located in Phoenix, Tempe, San Antonio, Austin, and Houston. Jevan has taken nine projects full cycle to date netting the Jevan investors IRR's on average of over 36%.
Jason resides in Phoenix Arizona with his wife and son. Together they enjoy an active outdoor lifestyle as well as supporting the local arts and burgeoning Downtown Phoenix Area. They support numerous local charities including The Boys and Girl Club, Umom, YMCA, Local Phoenix, Foundation for Blind Children, The Phoenix Art Museum.
Colin graduated The University of Arizona in 2008 Cum Laude and immediately obtained his series 7 & series 66 licenses. Since then Colin has worked for Merrill Lynch as a financial advisor. From there following his instinct for real estate Colin joined Kipling Partners where he spearheaded development projects from underwriting to entitlements. Most recently working with Dudley Ventures, as a senior investment analyst where he evaluated investment opportunities for their tax credit syndication platform. Now with Jevan, Colin will utilize all his skills to both aide in investment evaluation, but also assist Jevan is taking better care of their investors as well as sourcing new sources of capital.
Danielle entered the Phoenix multifamily industry in 2001 working with PB Bell, remaining there for 10 years before joining ConAm where she worked on a Jevan Asset - Tempe Vista. After leaving ConAm for a change of pace Danielle joined Haven/Progress Residential, one of the nation's largest owners of for rent single family housing. Danielle has experience in most all aspects of tenant management and satisfaction. Danielle will run point on the day to day activities of the portfolio, working closely with Jason to ensure our business plans are executed and their performance benchmarked.
A native of Iowa, Andrew grew up on a small organic farm before moving to the Southwest at 15. His life began around tractors, dirt, and building things, an instinct and appreciation that he and his 3 boys share.
Spanning his 24 year career, his resume includes over 250 municipal, residential, commercial, large land development, and remote location projects with improvements valued at over $600M.
He has worked nationally and internationally, completing projects directly or on behalf of JF Shea, Freeport McMoran [FCX], Lennar [LEN], BHP Billiton [BBL], as well as multiple State Governments, the Department of Defense, Federal Highways Administration, and the FAA.
Possessing deep knowledge of the process, strategies, tactics, and business needs of large projects, he works diligently to make sure each project and participant is set up to succeed.
Jeff brings ten years of public accounting and private equity portfolio management experience to the Jevan Capital platform. After graduating from California State University, Fresno in 2009 with a BS in Accounting and Finance, he immediately began a career in public accounting, working primarily with real estate developers, REITS and private equity firms. His body of experience comprises engagement at real estate firms with portfolio values exceeding $2.5 billion including: The Lewis Group, a Los Angeles based multi-family and commercial developer and manager, Steadfast Companies, a multi-family real estate investment trust (REIT) located in Irvine, CA, and MG Properties Group, a large multi-family syndication firm located in San Diego, CA. Bringing a wide range of real estate industry specific tax and financial experience, Jeff will lead the Accounting department at Jevan Capital providing financial clarity to investment partners to contribute to successful ventures. Jeff now resides in Tempe, Arizona and is pursuing his CPA certification.
